If you happen to forget your administrator password there is no method within the software of recovering it (for obvious reasons). If you email us your Time Clock MTS database we will reset the password to something known and email your database back to you when you can set it to something else immediately. Generally this will take one working day for us to turn it around, however on weekends it may take longer.
If you've not moved the database then it will be found on the computer in the following location:
Windows 7 / Windows Vista
c:\Program Data\Time Clock MTS\Database\timeclock.mdb
Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Time Clock MTS\database\timeclock.mdb
Note that you may need to show hidden files and folders to see these locations, you can learn how to do this here:
http://www.timeclockmts.com/weblog/archives/2011/02/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-updated.html
If you have moved it then you should know where it is on your network. Just attach the file to an email and send it to us with a request to reset the password.
When you have received your database back from us
1. When we email your database back it will be zipped into a zip file. So you need to unzip it using Winzip or using Windows compressed folders (if your version of Windows supports it).
2. Copy the unzipped file over the one that you already have.
3. Run Time Clock MTS and check that you can log in using the new password that we sent you.

When you're looking for the file you may find that you have system files and folders hidden in Windows Explorer. In fact on a lot of systems this is the default setting. There's a good page here on how to show hidden files and folders on various versions of Windows.

Mark:
I Just emailed my file (timeclock.mdb) to "board@timesheetsmts" today. Hope you can reset it for me. I need to prepare the payroll soon?
Thanks,
