Customizing Timesheets MTS - Project Stages

You can choose to classify a project as having a 'project stage'. A project can be set by the project manager as being at a particular stage, or users can select the stage as they enter timesheet data. This could be useful to track data on one project based on a software release number, or perhaps a electronic circuit board revision, or even to track spend at different design stages (preliminary, detailed etc). Project stages are maintained on this screen.

Adding a New Project Stage

To add a new project stage click the button and enter the details on the project stage screen.

Editing a Project Stage

To edit an existing project stage either double click on the project stage in the list or click on the project stage in the list and then click the button. Edit the details on the project stage screen.

Deleting a Project Stage

To delete a project stage select the project stage from the list and click the button.

The Project Stage screen is shown when adding a new project stage or editing an existing one. To use this screen just enter a project stage name and a and click OK to save your changes or Cancel to discard them and return to the options screen.
