Customizing Timesheets MTS

Timesheets MTS is fully customizable to your company allowing you to output region and company specific invoices to your customers. It allows you to build an employee and charging structure that suits your business, and includes provision for consumption type taxation systems such as Sales Tax, State Tax, VAT or GST.

The Options screen is split into 10 different screens, each addressing different aspects of the software. You will only be able to see or interact with certain screens and items on the options screen dependent on your security level. The 10 options screens are:

  1. Automatic Numbering - enable automatic numbering for invoices, projects, and tasks.
  2. User Charge Rates - define user types and their billing rates
  3. Company Details - Set defaults such as company name, address and so on for printing on invoices and reports
  4. Display Preferences - change various ways that Timesheets MTS displays data and set different security access options
  5. Document Categories - define document categories for document management on the project maintenance screen
  6. Financial Defaults - set financial defaults such as tax rates, invoice text, currency, and markups for expenses and travel
  7. Periods - define and lock/unlock time periods (such as quarters, months, half years or whatever your company uses).
  8. Project Stages - define project stages such as preliminary design or software release numbers
  9. Standard Cost Items - define and set the selling price of standard cost items such as standard service offerings or even inventory items
  10. System Options - set database location and type
